Hello Kusama community,

after almost two years since our first proposal, we decided to come once again for your support. In this proposal, we are asking for $59,820 for the content creation, event organization and marketing activities for the > Polkadot ecosystem that Polkadotters did since June 2022 with proposed funding until the end of this year (overall, a year and a half of our work).

First a bit of history - we started the first and only Czech & Slovak Polkadot community back in the summer of 2020 and after realizing that there isn't much quality content about Polkadot even in English, we decided > to fill this gap as well. Since then we have published almost 250 original articles on our Medium, promoted Polkadot and parachain ecosystem on YouTube interviews with various influencers, organized and co-organized a couple of conferences and meetups, hosted some popular Twitter Spaces with parachain teams and many more.

To put our current work into some numbers

• 1591 followers on our Medium
• almost 150k views of our articles with more than 40k reads
• almost 5k followers on our Czech and English Twitter
• around 15k views of videos where we promote and explain Polkadot with various local influencers
• organized two local Polkadot meetups
• co-organized the biggest altcoin crypto conference in Czechia with more than 1000 attendees with Polkadot as a main sponsor

For our future endeavors and how we plan to use the requested amount, please see the detailed description and breakdown of our proposal. But in a nutshell, our aim is to keep delivering high-quality content and taking care of our local Czech community - with some extra perks like providing more content, developing a marketing strategy to reach a wider audience, starting to do monthly ecosystem recap videos, creating more Twitter content including spaces and many more. We also plan to focus on governance in general - by reviving our regular governance news, promoting interesting referenda in the ecosystem and obviously taking our part in voting and analysis of proposals.

EDIT - To further bolster the chances of our proposal being passed, we have decided to put in some extra work we weren't planning to do! We will organize additional 6 meetups over the course of this year, and 3 of them will be in Prague starting in May. These meetups will hopefully bring more people into the Polkadot ecosystem and they will also serve as a promotion for conferences we co-organize - be it DOT Prague in June or the next iteration of DOT Brno in autumn.

P.S.S. I have already submitted two referenda regarding this proposal - the first one (153) was with the wrong preimage set (treasure.proposeSpend instead of a treasury.spend) and the second one (154) was a swift attempt to cancel it while I didn't realize it takes 333 KSM for a deposit which we don't have. So these two referenda will eventually cancel out and I do truly apologize to the community for creating such a mess in the OpenGov. I learned my lesson and again, sorry for the mess!
