Accidently sent KSM from kucoin to my ETH ledger wallet

As the title above states, I accidentally sent KSM from kucoin to my ETH ledger wallet in May and thought it was lost forever until I saw a twitter post about coins being refunded for the same issue. The transaction link is below: https://polkascan.io/pre/kusama/transaction/0xed540cda1eafe347fb330e93509b29f1bd97a6496e31d08aacf1ab0c8ac99844 My KSM account is: HvsnqV1gL1MiiCMyiC65MsT2hq43wmVrAJHu7ScZKqWVCti Let me know if there's any other information I need to provide, and thanks in advance for anyone who can help fix this.

when the last user shared this issue, we had a one-off solution but if this is something that is more general it seems like it would be a good idea to have a general solution so governance does not need to intervene to resolve these issues. We already have ECDSA crypto onchain, I wonder if it's possible to give people access to their "Ethereum-address" natively onchain, might also be a good idea for long-term interoperability.
