Proposal: ZB-DEX

Proponent(KSM Address): D8f8n4BzBLJnJFaD6zNheNBTes6Awbao9zTUmNSskxzms6a

Date: 09.07.2020

Requested KSM: 20400 KSM equivalent

Short description:

ZB Foundation will build a decentralized digital asset exchange platform, called ZB-DEX. It use Substrate technology to build. As a parallel chain of Kusama network, it will provide decentralized exchange market for Kusama users. ZB-DEX will adopt the 0x protocol to implement a high-performance and high liquidity exchange market. ZB-DEX will adopt the cross-chain gateway protocol to implement the flexible and extensible cross-chain assets escrow scheme.

For the future security of ecosystem, ZB-DEX will open source its own off-chain multisig algorithm to support trusted organizations to build their own off-chain multisig asset escrow network. In the future, ZB-DEX will create more applications in TEE(Trust Execution Environment) to satisfy the needs of privacy transaction and key escrow.

ZB Foundation believes that ZB-DEX will bring unprecedented experience to Polkadot supporters.

Just to clarify is your long-term goal with this proposal to create a dex parachain on Kusama? In general it probably makes sense to focus on Kusama with the application (and mention it inside the application), since you are requesting funding from the Kusama treasury ;-)

@David Yes, The ZB-DEX is a long-term development project as Kusama's parallel chain. I've revised the proposal and our grant has been changed to accept KSM. Please review again.
